Is the free plan really free?
Yes — free forever, not a trial. It includes one staff calendar, up to 50 active clients, your online booking page and email reminders. We earn a small fee on card payments you take through PetPond, so we only make money when you do.
What does PetPond cost when my business grows?
Paid plans start at €19/month for Solo, €49/month for Studio (up to 5 staff, SMS reminders, point of sale, Xero sync) and €89/month for Pack (unlimited staff, kennel management, multi-location reporting). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no card required.
How do payments work?
Card payments run through Stripe under your own connected account — money goes to you, not to us first. Stripe charges its standard processing fee and PetPond adds a small platform fee. You can also record cash and other payment methods at no fee.
Do my clients need to install an app?
No. Your booking page is a normal web page — clients book, reschedule and pay from any browser on any device. You share one link in your Instagram bio, Google Business profile or anywhere else.
Can I import my existing client list?
Yes. You can import clients and pets from a spreadsheet (CSV) in one go during setup, so you don't start from an empty calendar.
Who owns my data — and what if I leave?
You do, always. Client lists, pet records and appointment history are yours, and you can export everything at any time. If you close your account we delete your data within 90 days.
Is PetPond GDPR-compliant?
Yes. PetPond is built and operated in the EU. For your clients' data we act as your data processor under the GDPR — see our Privacy Policy for the details, including where data is stored and how to exercise data rights.
Does PetPond work for boarding and daycare, not just grooming?
Yes. Scheduling, client records, reminders and payments work for any appointment-based pet business. Kennel and run management with multi-night stays is included in the Pack plan.
When is PetPond AI coming?
The AI front desk — which answers your booking page, WhatsApp and Instagram messages and books real slots from your calendar — is in development. It will arrive first on Studio and Pack plans. Sign up now and you're first in line.
What happens if I go over the free plan's limits?
Nothing breaks. We'll let you know you've hit the limit and your existing data stays untouched — you just won't be able to add new active clients until you upgrade or archive old ones.
